So this is a quick FOTD I did for work last week. Not much make up for me but I was running late and have had really sore and dry eyes and lips so thought the less the better. My dark circles under my eyes are horrendous and as my eyes are so dry if I use concealer on them it just looks flaky and awful so went without. I've just ordered Mac Moisture Select concealer to see how that works.

Sorry it's late - My mothers day prezzies!

Hi everyone,

So I'm on top of posts this week which I'm really happy about. I love the feeling when you know your organised. Hope everyone is well and have been loving this amazing weather we've been having. I really love it when I'm off work but sometimes just wish it would chuck it down while I'm stuck in work, I'm not bitter HONEST, lol.

So I remembered the other day that I hadn't shown you beauties what my big Mr and little Mr got me for mummy's day. I was so spoilt and enjoyed the day so much (it was my little boys 3rd birthday party too). So I'll show you how spoilt I was.

My First taste of Illamasqua

Hi everyone, How's your weekend going? I've just got back from the cinema and am a tad disappointed! Me and the Mr went to see The Devil Inside and it has the worst ending ever. Really wish I had gone to see the Hunger Games instead.

So my post is going to be about something I bought from BuyaPower a couple of weeks ago. I took photos of it when it arrived but just haven't had the time to do a post on it, but I've finally got around to it and here it is.
So it's my first Illamasqua purchase so I was extra super excited to try it out. It was one of their cream blushers in Promise.

I really love Illamasqua's packaging for the blush. It looks really lovely in my make up bag and does a good job of keeping the product clean and protected.

Promise is a blue based candy pink with a dewy finish. I have been using this nearly every day since I got it which shows how much I love it. It goes on really lovely and creamy and blends really nicely. The colour can be used for both a lovely sheer wash of colour or be build up for a more dramatic look. The pigmentation is excellent and only a tiny bit is needed.
It states it has a dewy finish and this is true, it really leaves my cheeks looking lovely and naturally refreshed and not powdery and cakey like some blushes can do.

I picked mine up for £14 from BuyaPower but normal retail price is around £16.50. I think this is definitely one of my favourite blushes and think I prefer it to my Mac blushes.
I'm hoping to pick up some more for my birthday, possibly in Seduce and Laid what do you think?

I'm really impressed with little taste of Illamasqua, has anyone got any other products they would recommend from them for me to try?

Hope you like it, I bloody lurve it x Danielle x :)

P.S Have you entered my MAC giveaway yet?? It ends tomorrow. x

My Butter London Nail Polishes

How is everyone today? I've has an absolutely lovely day. It's my little boy Oscar's 3rd birthday so we have had a really nice family day out and had lots and lots of fun. We had lots of fun running around Toys R Us, went to Pizza Hut and then went to a local play area and had loads of fun their too. His party was on Sunday, we had a bouncy castle (I think I enjoyed it more than he did)!
So yeah that's been me for the past few days, party bags and bouncy castles.

So I'll not go on too much about my life (I hope it doesn't bore you) and get onto the post.
So over the past month I've been hearing some great stuff about some nail polishes from a company called Butter London and as I am a nail polish addict I really wanted to check them out. Now they are not widely available, I found them here online. Once I saw the lovely range of colours I knew I had to pick some up and give them a try.

Now these are not cheap and come at £12 for a 9ml bottle. This is the most I've ever paid for a nail polish but I decided I would treat my self but I do understand a lot of people wouldn't pay this for nail polish and totally understand that.

There was so many colours that I wanted to get but I limited my self to two. After a lot of time and swapping and changing items in my basket I ended up buying Dahling and Disco Biscuit.

Dahling is a really sophisticated deep, dusky pink.

Disco Biscuit is a sheer hot pink with blue micro glitter particles

Now I like them both but been a girly girl that loves pink and sparkles I am in Love with Disco Biscuit.

I picked mine up from this website at £12 each with free p+p.

I'm really lusting after Slapper! If I wasn't so skint I'd have bought it by now, lol.

Now I will do NOTDs with both polishes once I have tried them out and will review how the polishes are in terms of application, wear, etc.

Thanks everyone, hope you like x

My Boots Haul

Hello to all my lovely followers, new and old.

So I've done a fair bit of shopping over the past couple of weeks so have a few haul posts to put up. Here is my boots haul I picked up about 2 weeks ago. I had a No7 £5 off voucher so nipped in for some make up wipes and ended up coming out with this lot!
  •  No7 Beautiful Skin Quick Think Wipes - £7 (paid only £2 with No7 voucher)
  • Boot Anti-bacterial Wipes - £0.79p
  • Boots Simply Sensitive Hydrating eye cream - £3.49
  • Vital Eyes Contact Len's drops - reduced to £2.02
  • L'Oreal Paris New Nude Magique BB Cream in Light - £9.99
  • L'Oreal Paris Lip Caress in 07 Cheeky Magenta - should have been £7.99 but was free as part of the 3 for 2 deal on L'Oreal make up.

  • L'Oreal Paris Studio Secrets Professional Universal Lip Glow - £8.49
So that's was my lot from Boots (that time around, more to come, lol).
So I've just really listed what I picked up with pics, prices, etc but will do reviews on some of the items. Let me know if there is anything in particular you want me to review and I'll make sure I do a post on that for you.
So what's everyone up to this weekend? It's my little boy Oscars 3rd birthday on Tuesday so were having a little party today to celebrate. We have hired a bouncy castle for the garden and are going to decorate the house in a dinosaur theme (he's mad on dinosaurs at the moment). We even have jelly + ice cream. Just hoping we have some nice weather. Wish me luck with 10+ kiddies all under the age of 4, aarrrrgggghhhh. Danielle x :)

17 Mirror Shine On Lipstick in Flirtini

Hi lovelies,

So just wanted to share a lipstick I've been loving since I picked it up a few weeks ago. It's from 17's Mirror Shine on range and it's in the shade Flirtini. It's so pretty.

Some don't like the packaging to this range and say it looks tacky but I actually really like it. Adds a bit of colour to my makeup bag and also makes it so much easier to find it.

The formula to these lipsticks are really nice. I have some in other shades too and they are the same. They go on so smoothly and feel more like a lip balm than a lipstick. They are lovely and glossy but unlike some glosses are not sticky at all. They add a lovely sheer colour to the lips and are lovely and moisturising.

Now they are not very long lasting but no lipstick lasts long on me so that's not a problem at all plus with my dry lips its nice to reapply for the moisture they give.

As you can see flirtini is a sheer berry pink colour. I really can't recommend these lipsticks enough and will be adding even more to my collection. They are very reasonably priced too at £4.59 and can be found part of  3 for 2 offer a lot of the time, available from Boots.

MAC Too Supreme

Hello everyone,

So when the Shop Mac Cook Mac collection was released I was quite surprised that I was not desperate for anything from the collection but when browsing the site I did find a couple of Sheen Supreme Lipsticks that's I liked from the new Too Supreme Collection. The Too Supreme collection is based on East Asian shades and sees 13 new limited edition shades to the Sheen Supreme Lipstick range and some new Sheen Supreme Lip glass's. They are available up until April I believe.

These are my first Sheen Supreme Lipsticks from Mac. I choose the shades Blossom Culture and Royal Azalea.

Blossom Culture is a soft pearly pink with a coral lean with a frost finish and Royal Azalea is more of a brighter pink with a creme finish.

Blossom Culture

Royal Azalea

I haven't had much chance to try these out yet so will pop swatches/reviews up once I've had a good try with them.

I picked mine up from the Mac Website for £13.50 each.

Did you get anything from any of the new Mac collections?

GlossyBox - The Harrods Edition

Hi everyone,

Hope everyone's had a nice weekend.

So yesterday when I finished work I arrived home to find my GlossyBox had arrived. Now I know there has been a lot of hype around this box as it's the Harrods edition. I like the idea of the box so was excited to receive it, see what was inside and start using my lovely new beauty products.

If your unsure what Glossybox or a Beauty box is check out my previous post that goes into more detail about them here.

Not sure on prices of the individual prices of the products in this box but when I do individual reviews I will find these out and include.

So here what was in my Harrods Edition GlossyBox.

Molton Brown - Heavenly Ginger-Lily Moisture Bath + Shower 50ml - A bath and shower gel with vitamin rich fruit extracts designed to boost the skin and invigorate the senses. Smells lovely, looking forward to popping some of this in my bath tonight,

YSL - Forever Youth Liberator Serum 5ml - A powerful anti-ageing serum enriched with glycans. I've heard allot of good things about this and as I'm turning 25 next month it's a good time to start trying it out.

Burberry Beauty - Miniature Lip Mist in shade Copper No 202 0.8g - A miniature sheer glossy lipstick. Not really my colour but it will give me a chance to try out the formula as I've never tried any lipsticks from this range.

Narciso Rodriguez - For Her Eau De Parfum 1ml - Narciso Rodriguez debut fragrance.

Clarins - Extra Firming Body Cream 30ml - Full of firming and regenerating plant extracts which is meant to immediately help lift and tone to create firmer skin and a younger looking body. I've tried the firming face cream and liked it so looking forward to trying this, a really good size as well so should last a while.

So that's it. What do you think? I'm not wowed by the box but not dissapointed either, it's just somewhere in the middle for me.
